[You Need A Beating Heart]
Hibernation. In animals, particularly bears, it is when it goes to sleep for a long time, in the winter. This is due to the lack of food available during that time. To conserve energy, the metabolism drops, and the animal rests until a time where there is a more abundant supply of helpless creatures. There is no theory of "hibernation", there is only fact. It's not something we "think" happens, its something we know happens.
As for my disappearance in this ole-blog-o-mine, it was the other way around. I needed to wake from a very long slumber, use my energy for something else other than wallow in sadness and pity and gain back my metabolism. Yeah, the 3+ months that I was away was my time for growth and continuance.
A lot has happened during those days that I was away. So many things could happen in a blink of one's eye and it could totally change your life. I told you many times that the universe has many surprises and it will get back to you the moment you're least prepared.
For someone who's been gone for ages, you could at least expect details. I don't have time for details now. I'll just put it the way all feel good movie does it. The nice guy does not turn out to be the biggest loser at the end. He's the one who takes the girl home. Or the other good guy, at least for me.
Take it away kiddo

[A motley assortment of things]

Southland Tales
a mishmash of literary citations, interpolated music videos, and movie references. Its mode is high-octane sci-fi social satire thick with drugs, paranoia, and time-travel metaphysics. It's filled with throaway gags and trippy special effects.
Those hipsters who saw the cult-classic Donnie Darko will be thrilled to know that its director Richard Kelly premiered the much awaited follow-up, Southland Tales. The film was in competition at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival with another great director Sophia Coppola for Marie-Antoinette, a Kirsten Dunst movie
The film will tell the final three parts of the story. A series of three graphic novels will be released in addition to the film which obviously will stand as prequel
Looks more genius and bizaare than Darko. I'm thrilled.

Im now obsessing on the new Mac Book. Last May 16, Apple unveiled the newly designed Mac Book, the world's most advanced consumer notebook. It's either in glossy black or white. Probably like the Toshiba Quosmio screens, very nice and vivid for DVD viewing but I think at certain angles the glare can be annoying. I wished they tried a matte-finished. You can only get the black in the highest spec though. Not available in the lower configurations... it seems like there is a bit of a premium on the black. I never been this excited since I first saw the Mac Mini. I'm back to happy meals nyahaha.

The launch of the Mac Book coincides with Apple's opening of the newest and most extraordinary retail store in New York's Fifth Avenue today, May 19. They say that it's going to be the very first store that stays open 24/7. Whoa, to be able to get an Apple fix in the middle of the night? I never thought that day would come. The place will also host the first ever iPod Bar... wheee, cool

I thought I should smile before I start this but I laughed, tee-hee The official declaration of independence. PEOPLE, Im not on a binding contract with anyone. Some friends would still ask me about mi estado civil and I would stop on my tracks and give them a wink. I realized that when you freed yourself from a relationship people expect you to tell all the juicy details starting with what, when, why or in some rare and ugly circumstance with whom LOL
Two days ago I was gang banged through instant messaging haha Four of my friends from work conferenced me and tortured me with all the "Boy Abunda" questions... err.. or was that a Kris Aquino-style of gossiping? haha After all the yada-yadas it came down to comments like.. "So, you're single now.. I'll introduce you to my friend. He's like this and like that. You guys should go out sometime." One of my friends even suggested that I go out with her girl college friend. I know people think that you need a distraction or a rebound for this kind of matter but thank you very much I can take care of myself and find my own date.
Alright, so I'm now again by myself and meeting people. I just had my first date last weekend and it was not bad for someone who had his last back when Britney Spears was still.. well, Britney Spears. Uhm, I'm not in a dating brigade though... nah-ah. I do first-in-first-out method hahaha I'm gonna get myself in trouble for saying that.. sheesh.
So, uhm... I'm still here.

There was a man drowning in the vast ocean. There were no signs of a dryland nor of rescue. Days and nights passed he kept himself afloat. His body is failing and his spirit wearing but the ocean remains unforgiving. There were times he wishes he'd be swallowed by the sea or torn by the waves just to end his torment. By the time that he almost had given up he saw a distant light. It was all he needed, a guiding light. As he drew closer he realized it wasn't just a light but a shelter. The man found a beacon.
To a friend who unselfishly shared himself to me.

The Earth Turned to Bring us Closer Eugenio Montejo
The Earth turned to bring us closer, it spun on itself and within us, and finally joined us together in this dream as written in the Symposium. Nights passed by, snowfalls and solstices; time passed in minutes and millenia. An ox-cart that was on its way to Nineveh arrived in Nebraska.
A rooster was singing some distance from the world, in one of the thousand pre-lives of our fathers. The Earth was spinning with its music carrying us on board; it didn't stop turning a single moment as if so much love, so much that's miraculous was only an adagio written long ago in the Symposium's core.

[How do we comeback to Basic?]
I dont want anymore to fall on pretense. I know I'm both strong and weak. It's true that yourself is your own worst enemy and everyday we have to battle our demons. It's one thing to recognize them and another thing to fight them. I say wherever you are right now you need a great amount of strength. Those who are weak will be their own prey.
Is this gibberish?

To see beyond life is not becoming dead. You may see it at a different perpective. Or you may see it from another Matrix. NEVER loose yourself. If you are only able to see the world that was programmed for you, consider yourself lucky or unlucky, sheesh. The unknown wouldn't hurt you.

Now I ask, is someone listening?

Ain't Love grand? Not for Tristan + Isolde. The movie's romance might not have swept me off my feet but James Franco is a treat. I saw some of his indie movies and he's a young Johnny Depp. I know that he's the only non-Brit that was casted for this movie, bloody mate, the guy is awesome and he has grown LOL. And did I say I love the poster, uber-cool.
